Along its east emerald-green coastline you can enjoy nothing but the whitest of sandy beaches and the crystal-clear turquoise waters of the Caribbean Sea, with pretty seaside towns like Placencia. And please don't miss a visit to San Pedro Ambergris Caye, home to Madonna's "La Isla Bonita" tune and the perfect place from where to enjoy thrilling snorkelling near the world-famous Shark & Ray Alley.
